W. Brewer is currently a professor of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Handong Global University in South Korea. His research interests are in: Computational Hydrodynamics, Computational Population Genetics, and Computational Linguistics. His publications have have appeared in such journals as Journal of Ship Research, Journal of Fluids Engineering, Technical Review Journal, and AIAA Journal. He has several awards from the U.S. government and universities for outstanding contributions in research, as well as a best paper award and a keynote paper. Dr. Brewer holds a BS in engineering science and mechanics from the University of Tennessee, an MS in ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a PhD in computational engineering from Mississippi State University.
